Okay, even though things seems like going a bit slow here as we gave out little information, there’s a lot of stuff going.
We finished most of the recording of the album back in last September, but we wouldn’t let out an album we aren’t 100% proud of so we pushed things as far as we could. Over the past few months, we mixed Dandy Animals almost 4 or 5 times looking for the best production, re-recorded parts that did not fit, rearranged structures, and even split up songs. Now that we feel pretty good about what we’ve done and got ourselves a distribution deal (for Belgium as a starter), we’ll unveil things a tiny bit at a time.
Our first single out of the album, Devil in Me, aired a little sooner than we expected as a few of you told us they heard it a bunch of times on Pure FM this Monday. Well that’s good news! Add to that the fact that the first airplay was followed by Queens of the Stone Age’s 3’s & 7’s and we couldn’t get more excited. More radio airplay to come soon, fortunately.
The album release is planned for September, which lets us alot of time to give away information! First step then: the tracklisting!
A few other things came out on the web last weeks: Mathieu Golinvaux made pretty good pics of the show at Goose Festival; and we found a pretty nice review on our ABBota show on Clue Cult (in English). Be sure to check them out!
